HEADLIGHT RESTORATION FAQs

How long will the protection last?
In extreme conditions, meaning your vehicle is parked outside all year, the estimated time this protection will last is between 3-4 years. This time can last longer with our Exterior Detailing which will add even MORE protection to the headlights!

If possible, its recommended to park your vehicle where the sun won't hit it as much, like in a carport, garage or park right next to a structure that blocks the sun.
My headlights are REALLY bad. Will you be able to restore them?
Every set of headlights are different. There is no guarantee that we will be able to restore headlights that are extremely oxidized. UV light damages the headlights on the outside as well as on the INSIDE.

If we attempt to restore your headlights and are not happy with the end results, we will not charge you!

How do headlights become yellow and foggy?

Headlights are made of a plastic called "polycarbonate" which is great for the extreme temperatures headlights will go through. Unfortunately, this type of plastic is sensitive to UV light from the sun, and if not protected, can cause it to oxidize and reduce its clarity.

From the factory, your headlights are protected with the same clear coat protection as the rest of your car. However, since the plastic is transparent, UV light breaks down the protection faster, which in turn oxidizes the plastic.
